A 100% cotton patchwork Komebukuro (Japanese Rice Bag).

A Komebukuro is a Japanes cotton draw-string bag that was used to carry offerings of rice to Japanese temples or shrines. The word literally means rice (Kome) bag (bukuro).

All sides are approximately 6" square. Fully lined with a draw string tie. Ideal for a knitting or crochet project bag. two 100g skeins of yarn fit in nicely (see photo).
